Utah Land Use & Zoning Law
Southern Utah Land Use & Zoning Law Attorneys
Land use and zoning law is the regulation of the use and development of the public and private real estate. Zoning is the most common form of land-use regulation, used by municipalities to control local property development. Other legal issues pertaining to land use include easements, trespassing, and eminent domain.
Zoning regulations typically divide a municipality such as a city into residential, commercial, and industrial zones. Thus, zoning laws are intended to maintain a level of order and efficiency within a municipality, while keeping each zone optimized for its intended purpose. For example, zoning laws reassure home owners that a factory or department store will not open across the street. Zoning laws also regulate specific requirements for the types of buildings allowed in each zone such as height restrictions, location of utility lines, parking requirements, and other regulations.

Ruesch and Reeve are always quick to respond to my questions and requests. We utilize them for writing and reviewing our legal contracts. With their experience, they are able to provide excellent legal counsel and find solutions to our problems. I would recommend these two for any construction law inquiries or contract needs.
Our case was represented by Ruesch and Reeve. I cannot say enough nice things about this firm. From the beginning they were very easy to communicate with and were very straight forward, always keeping us in the loop with the progress that was being made. In the end, they were able to get the money that was owed to us, and all in a timely manner.
Ben and his colleague were great to work with. They walked me through the process of setting up an LLC. While I thought I knew everything I needed they were able to point out questions I didn’t know were important and provide valuable guidance. I rarely leave reviews but the experience was exceptional.
